We are three average girls with a whacky idea to row 17.5 million meters from Worthing on the South coast of England to the Wicking Centre at the University of Tasmania this is one the leading centres of Dementia research and education .
Each of us has been personally touched by dementia and as we work in the the Care sector we see daily the impact the it has on individuals and their families. Dementia costs the NHS £40 billion a year. We wanted to do our part to raise awareness for the Cure ,Care and Prevention of all types of Dementia.
